Handwraps
All contestants shall be required to gauze and tape their hands prior to all
contests.
In all weight classes, the bandages on each contestant’s hand shall be
restricted to soft gauze cloth not more than 20 yards in length not more than two inches in width, held in place by not more than 10 feet of surgeon’s tape, not more than two inches in width, for each hand.
The tape may cross the back of the hand twice, but may not extend within
three-fourths of an inch of the knuckles when the hand is clenched to make a fist.
Strips of tape may be used between the fingers to hold down the
bandages.
The bandages shall be evenly distributed across the hand. It is absolutely
prohibited to “top – up” on the knuckles.
Bandages and tape shall be placed on the contestant’s hands in the dressing room in the presence of the inspector and, if warranted, in the presence of the manager or chief second of his or her opponent.
Substances other than surgeon’s tape and gauze shall not be utilized. For
example, pre wraps should not be used.

27. Taping and Bandaging. The following standards shall apply to taping and
bandaging of hands, although the local commission and referee may allow variations.
a. The binding of the surgeon’s tape must not be applied less than one (1)
inch from the knuckles of the contender’s hands. A boxer may use his bandage as he likes,provided that the knuckles of his hand are not covered by the surgeon’s tape.
b. Bandage requirements are as follows:
(1) In all categories up to and including Middleweight: the bandage
shall be of no more than ten (10) yards of soft gauze, no more than two (2) inches wide,
and no more than six (6) feet of surgeon’s tape of one inch for each hand.
(2) In all categories between Super Middleweight and Heavyweight:
the bandage of the hand shall be of (12) yards of soft gauze of no more than two (2)
inches wide, and no more than one inch wide of (8) feet of surgeon’s tape, one inch wide,for each hand.
(3) In all divisions up to and including Super Middleweight, the hand
bandage can be increased to a maximum of twelve (12) yards and no more than two (2)inches wide, and eight (8) feet of surgeon’s tape of one (1) inch for each hand.
(4) In all divisions from the Light Heavyweight to Heavyweight, the
hand bandaging can be increased to a maximum of fourteen (14) yards and no more than two (2) inches wide, and ten (10) feet of surgeon’s tape of one (1) inch for each hand.

1 バンデージは、JBC認定の柔らかい布製のものでなければならない。
2 バンデージのサイズは、幅2インチ(5.1センチ)、長さ10ヤード
(9.14メートル)を超えてはならない。
3 ボクサーは、バンデージ装着後、インスペクターの検査を受け、その許可を得なければならない。
4 ボクサーは、バンデージの内部に異物を巻きこみ、もしくはバンテージを捻じったりする等、加工をしてはならない。バンテージは拳・手首等の保護以外の目的を逸脱することをしてはならない。
5 ボクサーは、バンデージを安定させるために、片方の手に幅1インチ(2.5センチ)、長さ6フィート(1.83メートル)の粘着性テープを使用することができる。ただし、粘着性テープをナックルパートに使用してはならない。

In all weight classes, the bandages on each contestant’s hand shall be restricted to soft gauze cloth not more than 10 yards in length and two inches in width, held in place by not more than 10 feet of surgeon’s tape, one inch in width, for each hand.
Surgeon’s adhesive tape shall be placed directly on each hand for protection near the wrist.
However, as opposed to boxing wraps, the tape may cross the back of the hand twice and extend to cover and protect the knuckles when the hand is clenched to make a fist.
The bandages shall be evenly distributed across the hand.
Bandages and tape shall be placed on the contestant’s hands in the dressing room in the presence of the inspector and, if warranted, in the presence of the manager or chief second of his or her opponent.
Under no circumstances are gloves to be placed on the hands of a contestant until the approval of the inspector is received.
Substances other than tape and gauze shall not be utilized. For
example, prewraps should not be used.

17) SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Specifications for Bandages on Contestants’ hands:
1) In all weight classes, the bandages on each contestant’s hand shall be restricted to
soft open weave gauze cloth not more than 20 yards in length and 2 inches in width, held
in place by not more than 10 ft. of surgeon’s/zinc oxide tape, 1 inch in width, for each
hand.
2) Surgeon’s/zinc oxide adhesive tape shall be placed directly on each hand for
protection near the wrist. Strips of tape may be used between the fingers to hold down
the bandages.
3) The bandages shall be evenly distributed across the hand.
4) Bandages and tape shall be placed on the contestant’s hands in the dressing room in

the presence of the commission/host regulatory authority.
5) Under no circumstances are gloves to be placed on the hands of a contestant until the
approval of the commission/host regulatory authority is received. Each glove shall be
sealed and taped either in red or blue. Athletes may not remove the gloves once
sealed until the competition bout has taken place.

(2) 任意で着用できる競技用具
a.手へのバンテージ及びテーピングの使用(ハンドラッピング)
選手は、手にバンテージ、テーピングを任意で使用(以下、「ハンドラッピング」という。)する場合、以下に掲げる基準等の範囲内で使用しなければならない。
・ハンドラッピングにあたっては、拳の前面部(ナックルパート)ならびに中手骨骨頭部(ナックルアーチ)にはテーピングを使用してはならない。ただし、指と指の間には細く切ったテープのみ通すことが認められる。
・ハンドラッピングにあたっては、内外部に芯、紙縒り、その他の異物を使用してはならない。
・ハンドラッピングにあたっては、プロモーターが選手に対して支給したものの使用に限られる。なお、支給品の素材、数量等は競技運営機構が決定する。
(2018年9月30日RIZIN.13においては、バンテージ15ヤード×2インチを2本、テープは15ヤード×1.5インチ、15ヤード×1インチを各1本ずつ支給)
・ハンドラッピングにあたっては、競技運営機構指定のチェックブースにおいて審判員の前での着用に限る。 ただし、競技役員(ハンドラップ専担)による着用の場合、使用場所はこの限りではない。

a) Hand wraps and tape
When apply hand wraps and tape to the fist, Fighters may not put tape on any part of the knuckles. Putting tape between the fingers to tighten the wrap is allowed.
-No foreign material such as paper, metal are allowed in the wrap.
-The outline of the fist must be noticeable when examined by an Official.
-The amount of wraps and tape will be determined by the sanctioning body and Fighter must wrap both hands within the provided amount.
-The hand wrapping process must be executed in front of an Official with plenty of time prior to the Fighter’s bout and immediately signed off by an Official after approval.
